The Public Summer Exhibition 2012
3 images have been accepted for The Public Summer Exhibition in West Bromwich. Returning for a third year, the Summer Exhibition 2012 will provide an opportunity for artists from across the region to display their work within an art gallery for free.
In 2011, over 60 local artists with a connection to the region submitted work to be considered for our second Summer Exhibition, with close to 100 pieces of artwork selected to be displayed throughout the building during the summer months and on an online gallery.
This year the Summer Exhibition will have three themes; ‘Portraits’ 'Action', and 'Places', inspired by our Art of Motion exhibition launching in May.
Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces of work, in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking as well as other 2D work. All artwork selected for the exhibition will be displayed from 18 July to 9 September alongside artwork from both upcoming and internationally renowned artists
